Though it certainly receives far less releases than that of its split-toed counterpart, the GEL-LYTE V has seen plenty of attention over the course of 2023. ASICS is continuing to expand on the silhouette’s inline catalog for the second half of the year, ushering in the “Material Play” pack. As its namesake suggests, the collection experiments heavily with texture, replacing the sneaker’s bianco fabrics and materials for a range of different mesh weaves. Leather, TPU, and a series of bright accents accompany, culminating in two distinct, albeit complementary colorways.
