One of Sean McDowell’s earliest concoctions of the model, the “Voltage Purple” colorway is set to return as part of the iconic silhouette’s 25th Anniversary.
Nike youth air raid gs 644412-002 grey green athletic basketball sneakers Air Max Plus “Voltage Purple” appears via brand official images, boasting a rich saturation of the regal hue on the upper. The black exterior cage which partly encases the sneaker melts down onto the mudguard, which sits above the white midsole housing the bright total orange Air unit within.
Like the Air Max Plus Anniversary that was recently revealed, Slayer Nike has chose to add special insoles to this iteration — a nod to a quarter century of influence. It depicts the four Air pods that sit on the medial side of the heel, which are tuned specifically to the foot-strike of runners.
A firm release date is currently unknown, but expect these to hit Slayer Nike SNKRS and partnering retailers soon.
