The Jordan DC2130 x Bephie is ostensibly inspired by the Jordan DC2130 1 Low Shattered Backboard553558-128. Releasing exactly 30 years apart with matching chenille tongue tabs and an X-Plate tooling that harkens to the midfoot straps of the AJ8, the latest lineage in Jordan DC2130 Brand’s game show now extends a matching colorway from 1993.
Achieving its second color blocking from three decades ago – releasing in an “Aqua” assortment a few months ago – the “Bugs Bunny” Jordan DC2130 38 mirrors the greyscale color blocking of its OG predecessor. Much like the clad-leather circa ’93 silhouette, the Jordan DC2130 x Bephie’s embroidered upper is From in a bright white tint while the forefoot’s cabling is drawn in a faint grey complement. Contrasted by jet-black tongues and inner linings, the fuzzy tongue tab renders the same collection of divided red, white and grey hues. Underfoot, the mid-foot shanks echo the same marbled detailing that ascertained the AJ8 with illuminated streaks of “University Red” while the midsole pairs off in a dark “Smoke Grey” finish.
