Kiko Kostadinov Works His Magic On The Newly Launched kostadinov ASICS US4-S GEL-Terrain

Ronnie Fieg x kostadinov Asics Gel Lyte III Leather Backs New Images: A second colorway of the kostadinov ASICS US4-S GEL-Terrain has been revealed. The shoes are designed under the Kiko Kostadinov Studio umbrella and are not considered a direct collaboration with the designer. Currently, a release is confirmed for February 2nd in the APAC region; a US release date is still TBD.

Revealed by dedicated fan-page @kikokurative, the Kiko Kostadinov x kostadinov ASICS GEL-Terrain is revealed with an elaborate colorway, keeping to the shoe’s introductory No-Sew construction. The base chain-mail mesh is exaggered with the white threading contend the black base, while a diamond-shaped pattern occurs at the mid-panel where the exterior eye-stays reside. Minor speckling, bordering on a glitter, appears on the exposed GEL cushioning at the heel, while an extended asymmetrical pull-tab sits at the peak of the tongue.

Given how the Bulgarian designer tends to craft his own models, like the upcoming GEL-Novalis Mule, this GEL-Terrain is likely under the Kiko Kostadinov Studio sub-line and not an outright collaboration. Furthermore, there are likely more colorways in production that sport the same modified construction.
