Beers & brats dot the insole, where a bonafide buffet is overlaid over a state map. As a final personal touch, two included hangtags depict a microphone in hand, a nod to Shake’s RUN DMC connections that run decades deep.
While the shoes of course lead the story for us, their release isn’t the most significant event James is sponsoring for 414 Day. He hosted a footwear design workshop alongside Wood U on April 11th, and tonight will host a release party featuring none other than Lil Kim, performing with Brooklyn Queen.
