Andrew Rizzo Few brands are as synonymous with one color as Tiffany is to light teal. The jeweler’s hallmark shade comes on all its packaging, branding, and more recently, sneaker collaborations with Nike.
Like all other major footwear brands, adidas has shown a static to let co-signed designs inspire inline releases. More dollar then not this pertains to influences from in-house collaborators like Yeezy and more recently Wales Bonner, but it also includes styles popularized by those outside the Three Stripes umbrella.
The brand’s latest take on the adidas Handball Spezial falls in the latter of those two categories, nodding to “Tiffany” and its unmistakable teal hue with fitting treatments on the stripes and heel. Black suede encompasses the rest of the upper, much like the adidas backpack black and green that dropped last year, while dark brown gum soles complete the delivery underfoot.
