Much of that shoe’s construction is intact here, matching the maximalist Nitefox sole unit with a traditional loafer upper, replete with multi-layered panelling and a split strap closure. The blend of burnt sienna shading, suede hardware and the feathered panel that sits under the buckle also imbues mocassin DNA in this colorway, an additional vertical tossed into this hybrid formulation. It’s a shoe that speaks to true contrast, blending athletic function with dressy aesthetic appeal in one wonky, off-kilter shoe.
