Andrew Rizzo The Jordan Spiz’ike Low keeps gaining steam. Several new and upcoming colorways have helped propel the low-top cut’s introductory run thus far, many of which border (if not flat out embrace) classic Air Jordan treatments.
Hot off the heels of what’s sure to be a prized “Black Cat” colorway, we’re now learning of a new “Flax” pair earmarked for Fall 2024. Similar shades have become a seasonal mainstay for Jordan Brand and Nike silhouettes at large, notably pioneered on lifestyle staples like the Air Force 1 and Dunk. Under the Jordan Brand umbrella, the Spiz’ike Low “Flax” aligns best with the Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” that dropped late last year given its liberal use of white leather.
The shoe’s Air Jordan 3 inspired elephant print panels boast a “Flax/Sanddrift” arrangement here, complemented by a slightly darker “Baroque Brown” shade on the midsole, eyestay, and heel panel. Breaking from the palette, the stitched Jumpman logo on the tongue appears in “Vintage Coral,” matched on the lace lock and insoles in what’s an almost incognito design choice.
