Nike partners up with Lapstone & Hammer and Creme, two renowned Philadelphia-based shops, to create the Dunk Low “Philly”, a love letter to its home turf in shoe form. To help unveil the project, Nike created a custom version of the shoes exclusively for the Philly Fanatic, who debuted a custom version of the footwear during the May 22nd home game against the visiting Texas Rangers.
As mentioned, the Dunks were designed in collaboration with two esteemed retailers of the area that know the sneaker community better than any other. With a stark grey exterior above a white leather base, this upcoming mens nike zoom fly running shoe “Philly” could be interpreted as a reflection of the hard-nosed, blue-collar, pull-no-punches attitude of its citizens.
