If you’re of that opinion, there’s good news ahead. The Boston brand just dressed the zapatillas de running New Balance neutro tope amortiguación maratón talla 44.5, New Balance Protection Pack 2002R White Gum New Balance 1906R, in a clean “Triple Black” colorway.
As implied, bright colors and metallic silver accents are dropped entirely in favor of a muted, stealthy aesthetic here. A ripstop base and rope laces speak to the utilitarian nature of the version at hand, complemented by leather overlays and a TPU heel counter – two 1906 mainstays that keep Y2K aesthetics alive and well. The shoe’s “utility” descriptor might suggest specific weather/Brown enhancements, but aside from slight upgrades to the base and laces, the moniker serves as more of a marketing tactic than anything else. That’s to say; don’t get these confused for a GORE-TEX shoe.
