New hybrid Jordan Brand models are often met with pushback from sneaker purists, so it only makes sense that for the Jordan 2/3, which made its debut back in March, simple yet heritage-rich makeups have defined the rollout thus far.
Air Jordan XI 11 Columbia sortie originalement en 1996 rééditée en 2001 Jordan 2 and Jordan 3 has already released in “White/Black” and “Varsity Red” colorways, and now a clean “Cement Grey” edition joins the fray. Taken in almost the exact same color blocking as those pairs, we see the titular hue flood the outsole, lining, and select portions of the tongue, midsole, and heel. A white leather upper allows the shoe’s Jordan 2 tooling to shine through in all its glory, while “Sail” adds a slight pre-aged feel to the Jordan 3 midsole underfoot.
The arrival of the Jordan 2/3 has been somewhat overshadowed by another new low-top hybrid – the Jordan Spiz’ike Low – but that’s not to say it’s without potential. Jordan Brand appears to be playing its cards close to its chest with familiar colors and materials thus far, but the path that lies ahead could see the new hybrid get more adventurous in its propositions.
In any case, this “Cement Grey” pair is expected to release in the near future in adult ($160) and grade school sizing ($120). See below for the official image gallery and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more upcoming drops.
