Following suit is yet another original colorway — the “UNC” inspired by Michael Jordan’s Tar Heels legacy. The shoes are set to release on August 28th, 2024 for $300 at select Jordan retailers.

The 17 Low combined MJ’s off-the-court passions including golf (seen on the traction inspired by a golf course) and jazz music. The hardshell briefcase is inspired by the cases for brass instruments used by jazz musicians. There are also elements of Jordan’s growth as a businessman and overall “grown” aesthetic.
