Timberland 6″ Boots are a fashion piece as old as time. Incepted as a utility-grade piece of footwear and later immortalized in streetwear fashion, Timberland’s most iconic product has spread its wings beyond the classic “Butter” wheats, all-black, and dark brown to dabble in special edition concepts and even collaborations.
For the upcoming Dia de Muertos festivities, Timberland has crafted a festive take on the model with a rich burgundy suede upper, a light mauve ankle padding, and a solid black outsole for an ideal Fall-friendly palette. Additional accoutrement are made known via the custom floral eyelets, the Dia de Muertos skull design on the tongue, and the traditional floral motifs on the upper and the skeletal rib-cage on the heel. The spooky glow-in-the-dark effect is applied to those patterns, the skull-shaped uppermost eyelet, the roped work-boot laces, and finally the Timberland logo on the heel.
Further celebrating the launch is a block party hosted by Timberland in Jackson Heights district in Queens on October 26th. On site Hert be a Dia De Muertos ofrenda “shrine” and several free services for the public such as face painting, arts and crafts for children, food by Don Munchies and Nieves Cortez, and the brand’s viral giant boot.
Pairs are available right now directly from Timberland here for $210.
