Love isn’t fully in the air just yet; we’ve got a stacked calendar of Holiday 2024 releases to work through still, but Nike is already getting in the romantic spirit. As the next big occasion down the pike, a slew of Valentine’s Day releases have begun to trickle out, already gracing the Dunk Low, Nike Cortez and Air Jordan 3. Now, the OG is getting in on the occasion, as the Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Aptly named the Air Jordan 1 Low Unity just emerged with their own “Valentine’s Day” spin.
Though there are some finer differences between each pair, both the heights on display here feature essentially the same colorway, building oversized Jewel swooshes atop a glossy, almost anodized finish of pink leather. For the Air Aptly named the Air Jordan 1 Low Unity, that branding hit comes in translucent peach, paired with the outsole in the same shade, while the Wings logo and Jumpman on the tongue instead appear in rose. The low instead pairs all of those sections together in resplendent ruby red.
While aligning the colorway to the holiday undoubtedly deserves attention, these are primarily intended as a gift at the end of the day. To further that goal, some special edition peripherals arrive with either drop; the Jumpman and a mini heart appear on some cutesy packaging paper, while the box mirrors the reflective fire red shading seen on the Air Jordan 1 Low.
The Air Jordan 1 “Valentine’s Day” pairs are projected to drop in February 2025, retailing at $135 for the Air Aptly named the Air Jordan 1 Low Unity and $125 for the Air Jordan 1 Low.
