As fashion notables around the industry gear up for Art Basel activations, the media enterprise is enlisting long-time associate Verdy for “Complex Miami,” a two-day public space in Miami Beach. Dubbed an “immersive” experience, Complex Miami will feature a large-scale showcase of archival pieces that Verdy had a hand in crafting, including exclusive, never-before-seen, or otherwise rare pieces from Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth. Some pieces will be up for grabs, but don’t expect the buzziest ones to have a price tag attached: previously unveiled “Visty” and “Vick” statues will be on display but unavailable to take home in your check bag.
