A short clip echoing toy advertisements from the 1980s appeared on Swoosh social channels, complete with a booming narrative voice and mini figures of Nigo and some Planet of the Apes-inspired characters with non-copyright-infringing names. It’s unclear whether the “shoes and action figures sold separately” claim in the ad is earnest or just another nod to that 1980s era.
