It feels like yesterday Devin Booker had his name called by Adam Silver, but quietly, he now stands as one of a handful of players approaching a decade of service with his squad. With so many seasons under his belt in Phoenix, the superstar SG has naturally grown an affinity for his new home state, and it’s becoming a theme on his signature shoe. After drawing up the “Sedona” colorway to the desert town of the same name, he’s taking a quick 30 mile jaunt for his next, the Book 1 “Flagstaff.”
The shoe’s chief inspiration comes from Flagstaff’s defining ponderosa pine trees. However, those with familiarity with the aforementioned “Sedona” will immediately clock major similarities despite their differing regional inspo, carrying over the topological print on the upper and “No Service” text on the heel.
While the embroidered tongue tag remains, the Book 1 “Flagstaff” instead depicts a moody sunset, a contrasting look given the shoe’s green-on-gum overall palette. Finally, this again showcases that the further that we get into the Book 1, the more it seems the defining “pages” pull tabs are becoming a thing of the past, particularly for lifestyle-minded editions like the one at hand. .
The Nike Book 1 “Flagstaff” is expected to release on February 15th, retailing for $140. Catch in-hand images ahead — watch our Sneaker Release Dates hub and Nike’s new arrival page nike tanjun big kids shoe.
H12 Nike Dunk Low Club DR5475-100 Book 1 “Forrest Gump” will precede this drop by about three weeks.
