Due to COVID, McDonald’s had to cancel this year’s All-American Game. But that doesn’t mean they can’t celebrate in one form or another. A tribute to what could have been, their collaboration with Eric Emanuel and adidas is still due to release this month, featuring colors and insignia signature to the fast food giant.

It’s more accurate to say the colorway represents the All-American Games itself as the event’s palette is mirrored throughout the entire shoe. For instance, the Stripes don a deep red tone, complimenting the gold that covers the heel trim, tread, collar, and added stars. The logo itself appears frequently as mountain, dressing not only the outer profile but also both sides of the tongue. What’s more, adjacent to the many navy overlays, Eric Emanuel branding furnishes the forefoot subtly so that McD’s receives most of the spotlight.

Alongside the aforementioned Forums, the collection also includes tracksuits, hoodies, graphic tees, and some cozy slides.

Though it won’t get you a Big Mac, the $140 USD price tag entitles you to a pair of the Forum ’84 His on their April 23rd release. Expect to see them at adidas.com.

UPDATE 4/17/2021:
As of this past Friday (4/16), the entire Eric Emanuel x McDonald’s x adidas collection will be available at the designer’s first full-time store located on 91 Greene Street in New York City.
