Featuring the Nike the Khakif Nike Sportswear Safari Pack and Nike Blazer Low, the forthcoming collection favors a Freizeitschuhe off-white palette. Yet, Yamase animates each pair’s upper with a whimsical treatment, adding earthy pastels to the profile swooshes, tongue labels and heel. As with previous releases indulging in the Swoosh’s Flyleather proposition, both sneakers’ uppers are constructed from at least 50% recycled leather fibers, inching the North American brand closer to its “Move to Zero” sustainability mission. Although the low-top Blazer and low-top the Khakif Nike Sportswear Safari Pack don much of the same design details, the latter differentiates itself with a semi-translucent gum sole White-Volt sure to find immense fanfare.
