Michael Le 2021 brought with it a number of Retros — and in Jordan Brand’s case, the Air Jordan Original 8 VIII Playoffs Black Black True Red was largely at the forefront. Following the re-release of the “Toro Bravo” (or “Raging Bull” as most prefer), the silhouette is also to return in “Oreo.”
Though officially dubbed “Moonlight,” the colorway is a near-exact replica of the original. Suedes wrap the upper in a dark, pitch black, contrasting the bright white midsole and lining adjacent. The cages, then, offer a similarly light but blue-tinted feel that better complements the icy bottom underfoot. Finally, the teeth signature to the model speckle in true-to-OG fashion, earning the beloved “Oreo” nickname that’s been echoed for years.
