Best known for playing for the Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell‘s path to stardom can be traced back to his college days as a player for the Louisville Cardinals. His career in Kentucky is the point of focus in Donovan’s newest adidas she breaks barriers commercial, featuring a fitting red and black color scheme.
In true Cardinal fashion, the textile upper is in a bold Scarlet that is paired with a black, cushioned heel and ankle. An elastic gore strap runs across the laces and features text reading “The Ville” to further rep the city and the college basketball team. Even the black pull loop sees a graphic of the Cardinals’ mascot. The two-toned design is then complemented by a gradient midsole that features a speckled TPU piece to add neon pop to the proposition. To top it all off, number 45’s signature “Spida” logo is applied to the tongue running for a D.O.N.-approved look.
Enjoy official images of the adidas she breaks barriers commercial below, which will be available at adidas.com on September 25th for a price of $110.
