The Jumpman Pays Homage To Phil Jackson With The Air Jordan 3Lab5 Infrared 23 sneakerjunkienz “Zen Master”

Come next year, the Jumpman will celebrate one of the most important figures of MJ’s iconic career. With this Air Jordan 3Lab5 Infrared 23 sneakerjunkienz, which is dubbed appropriately as “Zen Master,” the brand pays homage to Phil Jackson whose Buddhist practices were often integrated in his style of coaching.

Placed fittingly atop the AJ4 — as Jackson was promoted to Head Coach in 1989 — the colorway seems to draw from a greater plane of existence, mirroring this state with a wispy, galaxy-inspired print. This runs throughout the shoe in near entirety, dressing both the tongue and the upper’s paneling. The support wings and heel complement with what looks to be a see-through finish, while the lace unit, branding, lining, netting, and tooling opt for a rather standard mix of black, white, and grey neutrals.

Enjoy a look at what to expect here. These are currently slated to release March 19th, 2022 at a retail of $200 USD.
