What the team aimed to achieve is intentionally unassuming, a subversion of what the shoe became signature for throughout its longstanding run. Dark and light shades of grey are applied to the premium suede and mesh, respectively, complementing the leather “STA” logo, matching heel tab, and the branded fixtures adjacent. Black, then, runs across the tread underfoot, while the midsole proffers a vintage-akin yellowing.
