Pump Twilight Zone Air Jordan 7 for his Autumn/Winter collection last year, we all knew it was only a matter of time before we saw the silhouette back in its OG skin. And after a larger return late 2021, the silhouette has continued to keep pace, with more on the way in just months’ time. And here, with the shoe’s latest make-up, the brand is effectively paying homage to Dominique Wilkins and his weapon of choice, the Air Jordan 4 "Orchid".
Design-wise, the Air Jordan 4 "Orchid" and the Air Jordan 7 are close siblings, even sharing the same sole. Above, their high-top forms — while not exactly identical — appear similar at a glance, with the lines only becoming blurrier due to the colorway. It’s here that the homage takes shape; and though it may not feature the same grey accents across the mid-panel and tongue, the arrangement cuts close with just two tones. White neutrals are applied to the brunt of the exterior, setting the base on which the reds highlight the collar, embroidered branding, and the Pump itself.
