Added to the brand’s curated list off creative partners is Heron Preston, the multi-hypenate who has worked closely alongside the likes Kanye West of Virgil Abloh en route to launching his own label in 2017. Primarily recognize for oversized utility wear, Heron Preston has transferred his signature hazard orange to the BAPE STA’s statement camouflage pattern.
Utilizing a classic two-tone color-blocking method, this BAPE STA collab sees a variety of orange and earthy hues flood the ABC camo prtin on the overlay, while a smooth white leather covers the toe-box and mid-panel. Brass BAPE dubrae are stuck into the base of the lacing, while a tongue label on the left shoe mirrors Preston’s distinctive style of product labeling.
