The Nike SB Dunk Low Steamboy OST 90 continues to play an important sole in the brand’s catalog of footwear options. And while the company is likely reimagining the silhouette into a new model or deconstructing and rearranging its elements into a refreshing update, it’s outfitting the design in a summer-friendly white, grey, light purple and blue mix.
Featuring fan-favorite light gum brown tread, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a non-standard logo on the sock-liner. Although the caution tape-reminiscent branding hasn’t appeared on styles of Tinker Hatfield’s 1990 creation before, it’s landed on the shoe boxes that housed Nike’s reissues of the sneaker’s original color-blockings for the Air Max June 90‘s 30th anniversary in 2020. Logo hits on the top of the tongue, profiles, spine and outsole boast their traditional looks, allowing for the change in insole logos to appear that much more prominently. Light purple’s application at the Air Max unit cassette and front-half of the offering adds yet another tally to the silhouette’s women’s-exclusive roster.
