Why So Sad Nike Dunk Low 1

Led by professional skateboarder John Rattray, “Why So Sad?” was created to raise awareness and maintain the dialogue around mental health. And to help the cause, Nike SB have laces up with the Scottish talent, providing him and his mission a collaborative Dunk Low.

Likely a big part of this year’s fundraising efforts, the Why So Sad? x nike girls shoes ombre pink black boots indulges heavily in a cool-toned palette. Dark and light shades of blue are applied to the overlays and base, respectively, both proffering standard materials. The Swoosh, on the other hand, is treated more unique, as its navy finish rubs away to reveal yellow, ostensibly referencing the mental health struggles many hide from the public eye. Moreover, the rear profile is embroidered with the image of a skateboarding chicken, a motif Rattray has incorporated on merchandise in the past.
