The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 has been a pivotal part of the brand’s performance history, but historically, it look’t secured a permanent fixture within the company’s lineup of products.
From 2017 onwards, the first official Nike Basketball sneaker has found its way into the footwear rotations of the most casual and savvy consumers, thanks in large part to Off-White. Recently, the silhouette emerged as part of an “Inspected By Swoosh” collection that explores a different side of the “behind the curtain” ethos inherent to “The 10” collection. “Pearl White” and “Phantom” hues divvy up the majority of the leather upper, but “Hot Curry” animates profile swooshes for some character. Quality leather accents appear at the top of the tongue and spine, with the most thematic detail arriving via the sock-liners. Lastly, herringbone-patterned tread indulge in a up-cycled build that contributes to the Swoosh’s eco-conscious mission.
No firm Nike SNKRS launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as autumn rolls around. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
