First debuting back in 2005, the Dub Zero was the first-ever “hybrid” execution by the design team, merging a number of different Air Jordan legacy models onto one cohesive design while applying a laser-etched mosaic onto the upper. Although these hybrid models are scoffed at today, the Dub Zero were selling like hotcakes as it provided a fresh new direction for Air Jordan footwear in the (second) post-retirement era.
