The 40th anniversary of Nike’s hallmark 1982 streetwear silhouette has seen a slew of shades, hues and textiles over the last eight months with the latest to join the roster coming in a Grade School “Team Red” variation of the Air Force utility 1.
The pictured images of the GS model features darkened maroon that emboldens a majority of the leather uppers including the quarter overlay, midsole “AIR” branding and shaggy carpet sock liner while a light cream treatment cascades along opposing sections of the back tab, vamp and swoosh trim. The lighter palette extends up the forefoot in the laces and underlying tongue construction while the model is finished with a classic gum outsole.
Enjoy official images of the latest Grade School AF1 paint while we anticipate a launch of full family sizes on Nike.com soon.
