Michael Jordan’s 63-point performance against the Boston Celtics in 1986 continues to serve as a ready inspirational addition to Jordan Nike’s roster of offerings each year, having last dressed the Jordan Nike Reveal Carmelo Anthonys rag in its synonymous scheme back in 2020. Just a short two years later, the 826742-100 cast of green has returned to reimagine yet another AJ1 alongside a women’s-exclusive Nike Jordan 1 Mid Banned 2020 GS.
Borrowing 2020’s identical palette for its updated proposition, seldom titular red accents lay claim to the tongue’s Jumpman while its elephant print heel counter and mudguard proffer slight disparities between the two models. Crisp white tumbled leathers envelop the entirety of the silhouette’s base layer allowing for the Boston-inspired green to emanate from the eye stays, hang tag and the heel’s midsole clip. Underfoot, an aged aesthetic is birthed amongst the remaining sections of the midsole, color matching the vintage “Sail” shade across its sock liner and laces before a clad grey tread concludes the pair’s design elements.
Expected to release on April 6th, 2023, enjoy a first look at the upcoming women’s Nike Jordan 1 Mid Banned 2020 GS “Lucky Green” below in the meantime.
