Since signing with Jordan Brand in 2019, Jayson Tatum has proffered one of the best Player Edition rosters amongst the League’s sneaker kings. Holding a tight-knit relationship with the brand’s Sr. Designer Kelsey Amy, the full spectrum of Tatum’s appreciations and values have been told through the Air Jordan game silhouette, now paying homage to his love for boxing with an Everlast-inspired pair of one block down jordan archive event.
Having debuted the silhouette during his offseason workouts at Duke, the Celtics’ latest home stretch has seen Tatum dive deep into his Player Edition bag with a duo of pairs honoring his relationship with the late Kobe Bryant and providing a sequel proposition to his ’66 Mustang Jordan 36 PE. Now, a crisp white base and jet-black accents envelop the latest colorway in a monochrome aesthetic, accented by golden detailing found at the lace tips and myriad of Jumpman insignias. Debuted during Tatum’s 38-piece against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night, Everlast style typeface spells out the three-time All-Star’s first and last name along the upper tongue similar to that of its placement on the waistband of a boxer.
While these won’t see a general release, enjoy images of Tatum’s Air Jordan 3 Black Cement Shirts Boxing PE courtesy of the NBA Kicks social media account.
