Michael Le Nike is no stranger to glitz and glam, previously teaming up with Swarovski on a few crystal-encrusted sneakers. And while this upcoming Dunk day High may not bear the Austrian jeweler’s mark, it certainly seems at least somewhat inspired by their past collaborative works.
The Swoosh has taken a subtler approach with this Dunk day High, however, only providing the sneaker’s Swoosh a luxurious makeover. But beyond the silver glitter — as well as the matching tongue and insole branding — the pair prefers to keep its design understated, echoing the two-toned look prolific across the sneaker’s catalog. Much like the midsole, the upper is predominantly clad in white and grey: the latter dresses the tumbled leather overlays, while the former marks the base as well as the laces and lining.
