Michael Le After much anticipation, Nike has finally unveiled the latest installment in one of their most beloved franchises: the The successor to the Nike Air Max 90. And while a relatively sizable departure from its predecessors in the way of design, the upcoming model still establishes a throughline with colorways the likes of the upcoming “Pure Platinum.”
Unlike the women’s exclusive offering of the same name, the men’s Nike The successor to the Nike Air Max 90 “Pure Platinum” more closely follows in the example of appearances past. A light grey, almost blue-tinted tone is used across the Flyknit construction, complementing not only the icy blue flyease of the bubbles underfoot but also the darker tint the lateral and medial Swoosh employ. Rounding out the colorway are a series of bright white fixtures, such as the decals along the heel, the mini check across the midsole, the laces, and the plush textile of the inside collar.
