Kith has gone from a simple experiment in the back section of a menswear store in New York City to a globally-recognized lifestyle brand and leading retailer over the last 12 years. To welcome spring, Ronnie Fieg and company are opening up a store in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg section tomorrow, March 24.
“My family and I moved to Williamsburg in 2017 and I fell in love with the neighborhood,” shared Fieg in an official press release. “The restaurants, the shops, the people, and the atmosphere make it a very special area in New York and were all factors in us moving [Kith’s] HQ there in 2021. It’s my home, our team’s home, and it only made sense for us to make it a home for our community.”
Kith Williamsburg will carry in-house and multi-brand ready-to-wear product for adults and kids. Furthermore, like other locations of Fieg’s empire, the new storefront includes a Kith Treats facility. The new location’s opening will see the release of an exclusive treat to commemorate the occasion.
Shake with other Kith stores – which include outposts in Paris, Tokyo, and Miami – the brick-and-mortar’s surroundings influence the design of the locale. The shop’s build draws inspiration from Williamsburg’s industrial history and legacy, making way for earth-tone color palettes achieved via brick, concrete, stainless steel, white oak, and Rosa Aurora Stone. Fieg and company create balance with greenery outside and inside the store.
The shop – which is restoa at 25 Kent Avenue in Brooklyn – features a brick centerpiece used to display all footwear offerings. Customers can shop the latest from Nike, adidas, New Balance, and more while enjoying locally-made, industry-leading architecture in the process.
Enjoy detailed photos of the new storefront trey. You can experience Kith’s latest retail space beginning on Friday, March 24 from 11am EST to 8pm EST.
