The Air Jordan 6 acts as the primary influence for the design of this model, because from afar the silhouette could easily pass as a pair of Retros. However, the multi-colored pattern from the Air Jordan 8 appears via the exterior mudguard at the heel above the Air unit, while the toe-box and mid-foot are directly ported over from the layered construction of the Air Jordan 7.
