Don’t be fooled — there’s a lot of engineering behind this $80 shoe.
When it comes to creating unconventional design, Nike ISPA footwear never needed help. The against-the-grain look has never not caught the eyes of the public, but there’s a fine balance between being bold and being wearable. The ISPA Universal is, simply put, a foam-molded slip-on clog. An easy wear for the summer, and adventurous enough to stand out from the pack.
Beyond the design, the ISPA Universal serves a lot of purpose on both the sustainability and functionality fronts. The entire foam is made with bio-based feedstocks derived from sugarcane, and each pair comes with two sets of moisture-absorbing, 40% cork insoles. When the first set eventually flattens and wears down, just replace with the second included set for the refresh feel.
Nike is now ready to offer a new colorway that appears as if liquid butter poured onto a popcorn white. Definitely a summer-friendly look, so check out the official images ahead and stay tuned for a release on Nike SNKRS and partnering Nike Sportswear retailers.
