To celebrate the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China, Nike Sportswear created a special Blazer Mid QS inspired by the Chinese National Pavilion. The Chinese National Pavilion is constructed out of various different Red materials which is the main inspiration for the Blazer Mid, which uses Challenge Red on the majority of the upper. To offset the Red upper, a Black ripstop nylon Swoosh as added as well as a White outsole.
