Nike’s “Just Do It” slogan was born in 1988. Over the last 35 years, the three words have become recognized globally, appearing across countless marketing campaigns and products.
Recently, the Swoosh unveiled more pairs of its iconic dark grey blazer upscale casual with “Just Do It” messaging, fulfilling a newfound custom. The pair – exclusive to women – takes on a traditional leather build and enjoys a clean “Coconut Milk” finish. Profile swooshes, however, deviate from Bruce Kilgore’s original blueprint in favor of a raised jewel swoosh, a branding hit introduced in 1997. The smaller logo indulges in a vibrant “Playful Pink” tone that starkly contrasts the bulk of the sneaker; “AIR” detailing underfoot and non-standard lace dubraes follow suit. Elsewhere, “Nike Air” text on the tongue label, sockliner, and spine get an upside-down update. Together, each aforementioned component further expands the Air Force 1’s off-court legacy more than 40 years after its debut.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and expect a nike.com launch before the year ends. The shoe is priced at $120 USD.
In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 11 “Gratitude” celebrates the “DMP” retro from 2006.
