During the last few days of September, images of several upcoming Jordans suddenly boiled to the surface. Although dressed in a very similar palette, the Mens Air Jordan 7 Retro Black Olive “Year of the Dragon” is largely distinct from its low-top counterpart. Here, “Cedar” and “Dark Team Red” are the most present, alternating throughout the upper’s nubuck paneling and latticed weave. “Oil Green” — a close substitute for jade — is then applied to the midsole and laces, complementing the auspicious feel of the aforementioned reds and the subtle hits of metallic gold. What’s more, the logo atop the insole has been replaced with befitting the Lunar New Year.
