From the textile tongue and ripstop mid-foot window to the surrounding smooth leather overlays, the entirety of the upper assumes a clad-white background. Stretching the blank canvas real estate along the bulbous heel collar and inner lining, a complementary zer0 of “Sail” marks a subtle difference between the upper and the neutral-based midsole. What’s more, the silhouette’s accenting embellishments are outfitted in hues reminiscent of the Chicago flag as “University Red” fighter jet wings contrast the baby blue suede swooshes, tongue tab and insole logos.
