This Air Force 1 Low Grey "Workboot" "Hiker" is available now on Nike.com.

Nike Blacks Out The Air On This Tuned Air Classic

While all eyes are on the Nike Air Max 97 EM "Sunrise" quite literally considering the shoe has taken over the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas this weekend, let’s not forget the shoe that set the foundation for Nike’s newest introduction to its storied Air Max legacy.

The Air Force 1 Low Grey "Workboot" "Hiker", designed by Sean McDowell, is known best for its lava-lamp inspired upper and the fine-tuned Air unit that changed the future of the cushioning platform. Nike chose to completely cloak both of those elements in all-black as a thin layer covers the once-visible Air, while the upper sees a glossy and slick covering above a netting-like mesh. The miniature Swoosh experiences a new dimension via a metallic piece, while minor touches of volt and concord add the perfect accents to this nearly all-black sneaker.

The good news: the wait for this release is non-existent, because the shoes just dropped on Nike.com for $190. Check out the Where To Buy section ahead to Flyknit up your pair.
