This great week started off with our second Sneaker Con of 2010, and the only thing hotter than the weather was the collection of kicks that were inside the building. After a great day of buying/trading/half and meeting fellow sneaker freaks, we were hit with a bunch of great previews, like the snakeskin Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Lookbook and another sneak peak at two great 1/2 Cent colorways. We also got a great look at a reverse Powder Blue Air snakeskin Jordan IX, a sneak peek at the Eggplant 1/2 Cent, and Supreme’s latest collabo with Vans.
A few samples made their way to the limelight, as a super-rare geniune leather sample of the Air snakeskin Jordan II and a scrapped version of the Air Max 2010 caused a stir. The stars came out to shine as Kanye, Diddy, Dre, and many others whipped out their freshest pairs, and the NBA Playoffs continued on toward NBA Finals glory. On the topic of basketball, Complex Mag couldn’t resist yet another best-of List as they outlined their 50 personal favorite basketball shoes of all time. Summer-time will officially kick off this Memorial Day Weekend so before you head out to a BBQ on the beach, stop in and see what you might’ve missed.
