Heavy material makeovers remind us just how far the Nike Dunk has strayed from its basketball roots. Peter Moore’s design has thrived outside the confines of its sport-centric tradition, with all-suede renditions accounting for a large portion of memorable pairs. Such is the case here, as Nike touches down with a hairy suede “Olive Aura” mix for SS24.
The shoe wears hairy suede from heel to toe, but with slight color tweaks that differentiate the overlays and Swoosh. The former presents in “Bicoastal” to match the midsole, while the latter adds contrast in “Oil Green”. Otherwise, “Olive Aura” floods the base on the toe box, quarter, and heel, tied together underfoot with a matching outsole. All considerations combine to produce a look that’s unique yet subtle at the same time, drawing its primary appeal through materials while revolving entirely around an earthy green mix.
Enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates on the shoe’s arrival. Expect an MSRP of $135, a slight hike from the Dunk Low’s typical $125 mark given its use of non-traditional materials opposed to leather.
