Andrew Rizzo Crocs won’t stop until it’s worked with every major franchise in the universe, even if they’re from a galaxy far, far away. Its latest Star Wars collaboration doesn’t mark an entirely new partnership, but rather builds on a catalog that’s already produced a number of top sellers. This Monterey around, Darth Vader and Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) get their own special pairs.
Good and evil are well balanced here; Vader and Grogu get one design each, while an Off Court Clog takes a neutral approach with a starry base and various spaceships jibbitz. Grogu’s Classic Clog begins with a figurine of the character’s head at the forefoot, complemented by Mandalorian helmet and Batha Burger charms jibbitz below, the latter being a go-to snack for the people of Tatooine. The top portion of the Clog itself wears a sandy shade of tan, while the sides and toe pivot to a patterned grey mix.
Turning to the dark side of the collection, Vader spreads his trademark black/red palette on a Classic Slide 2.0. A red footbed features a picture of Vader towards the heel, while white stripes define the enclosure up top. Jibbitz add-ons on this pair include a Darth Vader helmet, control panel, and red/black charm reading “The Dark Side”.
