Andrew Rizzo Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff (SNS) turns 25 this year, and they’re celebrating the milestone with a slate of city-specific adidas shoes inspired by the 90s rave scene in Stockholm. What’s more is that the upcoming collection introduces a new co-signed imprint to the adidas Originals lineup; the SNS x adidas japan open house today show 2018, printable almost directly after the adidas Handball.
The shoe itself resembles a continuation of the SNS x adidas GT line, differing from the first version with a Handball-inspired upper to match the tooling down below. Forrest green nylon floods the base of this “London” colorway, complemented by “Olive” suede on the toe, eyestay, and heel panels. The stripes and spine add contrast in pure white, but the tongue, laces, and lining opt for a more sophisticated off-white shade, a seemingly small choice that goes a long way in producing an elevated look and feel. On top of the brand’s 25th anniversary at large, the drop also marks ten years since SNS London opened back in 2014. As such, SNS plans to host a rave-inspired event based in London to mark the release, although full details haven’t been revealed just yet.
