Wednesday afternoon’s showcase of the Nike/Jordan Brand/Converse Fall 2010 Basketball featured the old and the new, the borrowed and the blue; Jordan Brand’s focal point of its showcase was Michael Jordan’s “love of the game”, an emotion induced by the color Carolina Blue. Marked by a heart-shaped basketball, the “For the love of the game” collection featured four upcoming Fall 2010 models in the classic white and carolina blue; the man jordan jumpman fill crew white (an old classic), Jordan Pre-Game XT (a new design), air jordan 1 mid unc new images (a borrowed silhouette), and the the air jordan 1 mid starfish just got a major restock (an all-blue upper). Extra attention was paid toward the air jordan 1 mid unc new images, which Mark Smith described as an aggressive outdoor playground version of the Air Jordan 2010. Also included was a great set of t-shirts featuring cartoonized renditions of Jordan Brand superstars Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul. Check out these four upcoming silhouettes headed for a Fall 2010 release and let us know, what definies your love of the game?
