First previewed in early June, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Luxe Summit White Light Bone x Nike Air Foamposite One “Cat Eye” is officially set to release on July 19th exclusively via Dover Street Market channels.
Much like the Paris-based label’s Foamposite duo from 2021, CDG utilizes an entirely new upper with grooved ripples that extend outward at the quarter and forefoot. While the preceding delivery consisted of monotone black and white looks, the “Cat Eye” colorway features an abstract, glossy black and grey mix, leveraging the shoe’s circular elements with a fitting design and nickname.
Arriving one week before the start of the 2024 Paris Olympics, the shoes ode to the international competition with gold, silver, and bronze Sao on the tongue and heel pull tabs, with white-on-black Nike Air Force 1 Low Luxe Summit White Light Bone branding just underneath the latter.
Moreover, there’s good news when it comes to the price. Considerably less than the $520 tag for 2021 pairs, the “Cat Eye” colorway clocks in at $300. That’s more than the usual price for the Foamposite One, but a far cry from other CDG x Nike projects which typically retail for around double a model’s standard MSRP.
