Fat Tire Links With Vans On A Super Limited Slip-On

Vans is always vibing out, and it’s important that their collaborators do the same. No stranger to unconventional fusions, the SoCal skate brand has linked up with New Belgium Brewing’s Fat Tire on a capsule collection comprised of beer, apparel, accessories, and for our purposes; a limited Vans Slip-On colorway.

The shoes balance between the hallmarks of both brands; Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern appears at the rear, while the forefoot section comes doused in Fat Tire’s hallmark royal blue shade. Additional touches include Fat Tire branding over white canvas at the heel, gum soles to match the Vans tag up top, and ComfyCush cushioning inside, comprising a more breathable wear compared to your standard Vans Slip-On.

In addition to the sneakers, the rest of the 6-piece capsule is pretty applaudable. Standouts include a co-branded cooler bag and towel, complemented by a five-panel hat, long sleeve tee, and socks. Co-branded cans will also be available for purchase at select locations, with Fat Tire donating all proceeds to Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, a non-profit dedicated to preserving our oceans and beaches.

The Fat Tire x Vans Slip-On ($65) is available for pre-order now via drinkfattire.com and is expected to ship out in August/September. The shoes are extremely limited so act fast if you’re looking to cop a pair.
