For the uninitiated, while this is a fresh silhouette, it’s not the first to featured this sort of platform sole. Where the Bubble crush stands out is how it eschews the subtle linework of previous editions, instead pasting pronounced textured detailing throughout the sole unit.

The foot entrance also gets a bit of a refresh, presenting wavy structure rather than the clean geometry of mainline drops, and a few vents at the forefoot improve breathability while they’re at it. With a 69 mm drop, this is easily one of the most attention-grabbing silhouettes Crocs has rolled out. To that point, designer Alexander Mayhew shared that the “Bubble Crush is inspired by warped DNA, blending blocks of color and bold personality.”
